It Takes More Than Just Prayer

We must recognize, if we are to live a life of continual blessings and answers to prayer, we must obey the Word of God. It is more than just prayer that God is looking for. He wants commitment & faithfulness. He wants a people who love Him for who He is and not just for what He does.

Please consider the following principles when seeking prayer covering from our intercessors:

1. (Psa 37:4-5 KJV) "Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. {5} Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass."
2. (Luke 18:8 KJV) "When the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?"
3. (Heb 10:23-25 KJV) "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised; {24} And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: {25} Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."
4. (Mark 12:30-31 KJV) "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. {31} And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these."
5. (1 John 5:14-15 KJV) "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: {15} And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him."
6. (Mat 18:18-19 KJV) "Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. {19} Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."
7. (1 Th 5:17 KJV) "Pray without ceasing."
