Headmaster and Governing BodiesHeadmaster Dr. S. Chad Ross graduated from Indiana University, based out of Bloomington, Indiana, with a degree in Computer Science in May of 1995. He then transferred to Christian Life School of Theology, based out of Columbus, Georgia, to receive Bachelors of Theology in May of 1996, Masters of Theology in May of 1998, Masters of Divinity in May of 2000, and Doctorate of Ministry in October of 2001. Dr. Ross was ordained a minister in June of 1995 by Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches and Ministers, Intl., based out of Irving, Texas. Since June of 1999, Dr. Ross has held ordination and membership with Evangel Fellowship International based out of Spartanburg, South Carolina. Dr. Ross has been a Minister of Youth and Children since December of 1993. He was also a full time Associate Minister at Living Word Christian Fellowship, Richmond, Indiana, from June of 1995 to June of 2003. Since 1997, Dr. Ross has been an Elder in his church and has served on the church board. Since 2001, Dr. Ross has been a part of the “Biblical Exhortation Masters Program” and holds a certificate for counseling ministry from The Grace Ministry, based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Ross has been a Bible teacher since 1993. He has worked as a Systems Administrator and Computer Technician since 1995. Dr. Ross worked in commercial construction in 1995 and 2000. In 2002, Dr. Ross answered the Lord’s call to start Richmond Academy, in Richmond, Indiana, with classes opening in the fall of 2003. Dr. Ross has been a steady musician since 1988. He has done computer graphic design and web site creation since 1995. Dr. Ross has led a youth drama team since 1999. He also authored his first book, “Christ In You,” in 2001 and in 2002, he authored, “Spirit Esteem.” Dr. Ross was born and raised in Richmond, Indiana. He graduated from Richmond High School. Dr. Ross has been married since October of 1994. He also has two daughters born in 1997 and 2001. Board of Trustees
Richmond Academy Parents Association (RAPA) The purpose of the Richmond Academy Parents Association (RAPA) is to assist the school and the headmaster in bringing about spiritual, intellectual, and physical growth in our children. Membership dues are annual per family. Any person having a direct interest in Richmond Academy is eligible for membership. The board of RAPA consists of no more than 21 members, each serving a three-year term. The board helps coordinate such projects as fundraisers, grade mothers, parents’ night, athletic awards, academic awards, sports season tickets, athletic concessions and many other school related programs. Suggestions and volunteers are definitely welcomed and should be directed to any RAPA board member.
